Overview
AKUSENSE ETD series through-beam laser edge detection sensors adopt photoelectric through-beam sensing with a red laser light source (650nm), delivering high-precision edge position and width measurement for film, paper, steel strip and other continuous web materials. Featuring repeatability down to 1μm/20mm and linearity of ±0.12%F.S., the sensors measure edge position up to ±6mm and width up to 12mm, with head spacing up to 500mm. RS485 communication (hexadecimal protocol) enables direct data output to PLC and control systems. Built with a flat aluminum alloy housing, IP67 rating and 1ms fast sampling, they deliver stable, precise and reliable measurement in harsh industrial environments.
