Overview

AKUSENSE ESE-10 contrast detection sensors adopt photoelectric diffuse sensing technology with an RGB 3-color light source (Red 625nm / Green 525nm / Blue 470nm), designed for high-speed contrast and color detection of objects in printing, packaging and automated production lines. Dual detection modes are supported: contrast mode with ultra-fast 0.05ms response (10000Hz) for registration mark detection, and color mode with 0.2ms response (2500Hz) for color difference identification. Featuring a 4-digit orange display, one-button sensitivity adjustment, Light ON / Dark ON switchable operation, IP67 enclosure rating and triple circuit protection, the sensor delivers stable, reliable and easy-to-tune detection performance in harsh industrial environments. NPN and PNP output versions are both available.

How to Select

1. Select output type by control system
   PNP sourcing output → ESE-10P; NPN sinking output → ESE-10N.
2. Select detection mode by application
   Contrast mode for color mark / registration detection; color mode for color difference identification.
3. Confirm sensing distance & installation
   10±3mm sensing distance, 2m pre-wired 4-wire cable connection.
